 A decision battle consultant to Donald Trump has confessed to deceiving the FBI about the planning of gatherings with affirmed go-betweens for Russia.

George Papadopoulos conceded the discussions happened while he worked for Mr Trump, not under the watchful eye of, court papers appear.

He said he had been told the Russians had "earth" on Hillary Clinton.

Independently, previous Trump crusade supervisor Paul Manafort argued not blameworthy to charges of tax evasion inconsequential to the 2016 race.

The charges against Mr Papadopoulos are the first to be brought by Robert Mueller, the extraordinary advice examining affirmed interfaces amongst Russia and the Trump battle.

Plane toilet arsonist on Sharm el-Sheikh flight has sentence doubled

A man who started a fire in a plane toilet has had a jail sentence doubled. John Cox was initially jailed for four years and six months after admitting committing arson during the flight from Birmingham to Sharm el-Sheikh in 2015.
