Performing artist Portia de Rossi has blamed on-screen character and maker Steven Seagal for lewd behavior.

The Arrested Development performing artist, who is hitched to US moderator Ellen DeGeneres, made the charge in a tweet posted on Wednesday night.

She asserts that amid a film try out Mr Seagal advised her "that it was so imperative to have science off-screen" before unfastening his pants.

Mr Seagal's administrator revealed to BBC News that the performer had no remark.

The 65-year-old is best known for his activity parts amid the 1990s, including Under Siege and Flight of Fury. He was given Russian citizenship by President Vladimir Putin in 2016.

In the tweet, Ms de Rossi said her grievances in regards to Mr Seagal's conduct were expelled at the time by her specialist.
