Trump and North Korea's Kim Jong-un to hold 'milestone' meeting

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump are to meet face to face by May, it has been declared, an exceptional suggestion following quite a while of common antagonistic vibe.

News of the gathering was conveyed by South Korean authorities after converses with Mr Trump at the White House.

They passed a verbal message from Mr Kim, saying the North Korean pioneer was "focused on denuclearisation".

Mr Trump hailed "incredible advance" yet said approvals would stay set up.

South Korea's Leader Moon Jae-in said the news "came like a supernatural occurrence".

"If President Trump and Chairman Kim meet following an inter-Korean summit, complete denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula will be put on the right track in earnest," he said.

China has respected the advancement, saying the Korean landmass issue was "heading in the right direction" and calling for "political courage".

Be that as it may, journalists say the North has ended rocket and atomic tests amid past talks, just to continue them when it lost tolerance or felt it was not getting what it requested.

The most recent declaration came days after the South Korean appointment met Mr Kim in Pyongyang.

Security Guide Chung Eui-yong said he had passed on a message that Mr Kim was "focused on denuclearisation" and had "swore that North Korea will abstain from any further atomic or rocket tests".

In an announcement sent to the Washington Post, North Korea's UN diplomat said the "valiant choice" of Mr Kim would help secure "peace and strength in the Korean Promontory and the East Asia district".

There is no sign yet of where the Trump-Kim talks may occur, yet the Korean outskirt's neutral ground (DMZ) and Beijing are viewed as likely alternatives.
